Welcome to Sky Science - Skydiving

During the ride to altitude you will do a final talk through with your instructors before jumping

You will check with both your instructors just before exiting the aircraft on every skydive

You will be taught to exit the aircraft in a stable position while being assisted by both instructors

During levels 1 to 3 you will practice deploying your parachute while staying in a stable position

You will also be taught how to check your altitude and initiate your drills at the correct height

Your instructors will continue to supervise you until your parachute starts to deploy

Another view of level 3, your first solo skydive with both instructors close by to assist if required

You will progress to one instructor who will insure your in a good body position before releasing

You will demonstrate the ability to start and stop a turn & altitude awareness

As you progress you will demonstrate the ability to do a back loop, the reason for this maneuver is to prove you can be unstable in freefall and then gain stability un-assisted

You will also attempt a tracking exercise, the aim of this maneuver is to insure you can move across the sky and find your own air space prior to deploying your parachute

After a successful freefall skydive you will fly your parachute to land in the designated landing area
